When You Want Different — Do Different

When You Want Different — Do Different We’ve all heard it: “The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.” (Thanks, Einstein — or whoever actually said it.) But what does that really mean? Let me tell you what it doesn’t mean: quitting your job, selling your house, and hoping everything magically falls into place. Doing things differently doesn’t have to mean dramatic, sweeping change. It’s often the smallest shifts that create the biggest ripple. That’s what the butterfly effect is all about — a tiny wing flutter can shift the entire atmosphere. And your life? It works the same way. I’m not naturally a routine-loving girl — and sometimes that can feel a little chaotic, too. But growth usually lives somewhere between the extremes. So here’s what “doing different” might look like:- Take a new route to work.- Say yes to the new coffee shop down the street.- Ask the friendly gym acquaintance to grab a tea.- Update your resume just in case that new job nudge becomes something real. The point isn’t to throw your whole life in the air. The point is to open up to the possibilities. Create little cracks in your comfort zone so that the light can pour in. The next time you feel stuck, move. Shake it off and shake it up. Drive across town for your favorite dinner. Say yes to that concert — even if you're going solo. Remind yourself that your comfort zone is a lovely place to visit, but you were never meant to live there full-time. Change starts with one bold breath, one tiny step, one curious YES.

From my soul to yours, keep walking the Peaceful Route
